Nigeria To Play Algeria In AFCON Semifinal

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will play the Desert Foxes of Algeria in the semi final of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Algeria earned a hard-fought 4-3 penalty shootout win against Ivory Coast after playing out a 1-1 draw at the end of 120 minutes to set up the semi final clash with the Eagles.

Nigeria had earlier defeated South Africa 2-1 on Wednesday night and are now set to face a side they got four points from during the qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup.

The semi final match will be played at the Cairo International Stadium on Sunday with kickoff for 8pm.
