Nigeria U-20 Women’s squad for Burundi showdown

Ahead of this weekends FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup final qualifying clash against Burundi, Nigeria’s U-20 female national team head coach, Chris Musa Danjuma, has revealed the 19-player team set to take the pitch at Dar es Salaam’s Azam Stadium Complex this Sunday.

The jaw-dropping roster revelation came straight from Ademola Olajire, the Director of Communications at the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

The stakes are high, and the excitement is palpable as Nigeria’s rising stars gear up to face Burundi in this U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifier. Don’t miss out on witnessing these young talents in action!

Adding to the suspense, South African official Nonjabulo Nonhle Ndlela, handpicked by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), will be calling the shots as the match referee.

Her compatriots, Maneo Evodia Tau and Nandipha Menze, will be donning the roles of assistant referees one and two, respectively. Meanwhile, the ever-watchful Nteboheleng Theresia Setoko from Lesotho is set to officiate as the fourth official. For this Sunday’s epic showdown, Tanzanian Somoe Robert Ng’itu will play the role of commissioner, and the discerning eye of referee assessor falls to Namibia’s Fransiska Katjaimo at the Azam Stadium Complex.
