Super Eagles of Nigeria starting XI vs Cameroon

Nigeria head coach, Jose Peseiro has made four changes to the Super Eagles starting XI for the 2023 AFCON round of 16 clash vs Cameroon.

William Troost-Ekong, Alex Iwobi, Ademola Lookman and Zaidu Sanusi return to the starting XI for Nigeria who will be looking to fly past the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon to reach the last-8 of the tournament.

In the Super Eagles starting XI, Stanley Nwabili retains his spot in goal with William Troost-Ekong, Semi Ajayi and Calvin Bassey forming a back-three.

Ola Aina and Zaidu Sanusi are the wing-backs as Peseiro sticks to the 3-4-3 formation that has worked for the games vs Cote d’Ivoire and Guinea-Bissau.

Frank Onyeka, Alex Iwobi, Moses Simon, Ademola Lookman and Victor Osimhen complete the Eagles starting XI for the encounter.
