Nigeria VS Guinea-Bissau: All eyes on Victor Osimhen
For his goal-scoring exploits with Napoli, Victor Osimhen is the hottest African player at the moment. As Nigeria gets set to face Guinea-Bissau in a 2023 AFCON qualifier on Friday March, 24 and Monday March 27, all eyes will be on the youngster to deliver the goals.
Osimhen has not played for the Eagles since the record setting 0-10 bashing of Sao Tome and Principe on June 15, 2022. The forward scored 4-goals in that game to power the Eagles to a famous win at the Stade Adrar Agradir, Morocco.

Nigerian football fans will pray Osimhen gets the right supplies to score on Friday and Monday.
If he does, Nigeria will gather at least a minimum of 4-points to seal qualification for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and also add feathers to Osimhen`s chances of a CAF player of the year award win.
Osimhen made his Super Eagles debut in 2017 and has gone on to make 22 appearances, scoring 15 goals to spark talks he will go on to break Late Rashidi Yekini`s all time goal record for Nigeria (37). That will be another motivation, his last two international appearances produced 5-goals, another goal rain will push him closer to the top.
The number of goals he will score will be dependent on other factors like supply, quality of opposition defence/goalkeeper, but one thing is certain, if he is fit, Osimhen will start in attack for Nigeria vs Guinea-Bissau.
