Ahead of the Nigeria Vs Lesotho 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Uyo, prices of tickets for the game have been announced.
This announcement is contained in a release signed by the head of publicity, Akwa Ibom State Football Association Normalisation Committee, Mr Bassey Ibiatisuho on Monday, November 13, 2023.
In the statement, the AKFA spokesperson quoted the General Coordinator of the Local Organizing Committee, Elder Paul Bassey, who confirmed the regular ticket for the popular stand would be sold for N1,000, the VIP tickets will go for N2,000 while the VVIP tickets are pegged at N5,000.
He said sales points for the tickets, which will be strategically spread for easy purchase across the state, would be announced 48 hours to the match day.
The game which will hold at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Thursday by 5pm, is the first game of the 2026 World Cup qualifying match for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
In a related development, the Super Eagles will begin training for the game on Tuesday, November 14 at the Practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
Bulk of the invited players are expected to hit camp on Tuesday morning to begin preparation for the game vs Lesotho’s Crocodiles who will also arrive the host city on November 14.
