Nigerian club officials survive auto-crash enroute league match-venue

Officials of Nigeria Women’s Football League side, Delta Queens FC survived an auto crash en route to Ikenne for a league match.

Ahead of their Nigeria Women’s Football League Premiership clash against Remo Stars Ladies on Wednesday, Officals of Delta Queens encountered this setback.

The officials from Asaba were traveling for the upcoming match when the accident occurred, but fortunately, there were no casualties.

The match between Remo Stars Ladies and Delta Queens is scheduled to take place at the Remo Stars Stadium on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 by 4 pm.

Delta Queens took to their social media handle to confirm the incident, stating, “Despite the setback on our way to Ikenne for our Matchday 10 fixture against Remo Stars Ladies earlier today (Tuesday), our spirits remain unbroken. With gratitude to the One above, we rise stronger and more determined than ever. Together, we’ll overcome any challenge.”
