Nigerian Coaches Association Backs Eric Chelle’s Appointment as Super Eagles Coach
Despite criticism surrounding the appointment of Eric Sekou Chelle as the new head coach of the Super Eagles, the Nigeria Football Coaches Association (NFCA) has thrown its full support behind the decision.
NFCA President Ladan Bosso urged Nigerians to rally behind Chelle, emphasising that his success would benefit the entire nation.
Speaking on the appointment, Bosso, who also coaches Bayelsa United, praised the leadership of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, describing Chelle’s selection as a strategic move to strengthen Nigerian football.
“Alhaji Gusau is deeply committed to the success of our national teams. The choice of Eric Chelle demonstrates his determination to build the right structures for our football,” Bosso stated.
The NFCA assured Chelle of its full support, pledging to provide assistance to help him succeed in his role.
