Nigerian forward Ime Ndon shines bright as FC Milsami close in on League and Cup glory in Moldova
Nigerian forward Ime Ndon is enjoying a standout season in Moldova, playing a key role in FC Milsami’s push for a historic domestic double as they chase both the Super Liga title and the Moldovan Cup.
The former Ibom Youths FC attacker has been in red-hot form, scoring four goals and providing four assists in his last seven matches across all competitions. His latest contribution came in Milsami’s emphatic 5-0 league victory over CSF Bălți on May 3, where he delivered two assists in a dominant team performance.
Ndon was also instrumental in Milsami’s 5-0 demolition of Spartanii Selemet in the first leg of the Moldovan Cup semi-final on April 30, scoring once and setting up another to put his side firmly in control of the tie.
With three games remaining in the league, FC Milsami currently sit top of the Super Liga table with 19 points from eight matches, ahead of traditional powerhouses Sheriff Tiraspol. The Orhei-based club is looking to secure their first league title since 2015, and Ime Ndon’s performances are proving crucial to their campaign.
Since joining Milsami, the Nigerian has steadily become one of the team’s most reliable attacking threats. His pace, vision, and sharp finishing have added a new dimension to Milsami’s frontline, making them one of the most feared sides in the country.
FC Milsami, founded in 2005 and playing their home games at the 3,160-capacity Complexul Sportiv Raional in Orhei, are now two games away from clinching the league title and one leg away from reaching the Cup final. Ndon’s fine form gives them every reason to dream of a memorable end to the 2024/25 season.
With momentum firmly on their side and Ime Ndon firing on all cylinders, Milsami are poised to write a new chapter in their history — and the Nigerian forward is right at the heart of it.
