Nigerian striker to get $70000 from club following FIFA directive
Nigerian striker Junior Ajayi will get $70000 fro Egyptian club Smuoha SC following a directive from World Football Governing body FIFA.
The 27-year old joined Smuoha Sports Club in 2022 but his involvement with the club suffered a blow when he sustained a long-term injury in a friendly game vs Canal Club in October 2022.
In a petition to the Federation of International Football [FIFA], Ajayi laid claim to being abandoned during his injury travails and also owed wages.

In 2022, Junior Ajayi terminated his contract with Al Ahli Benghazi to join Smuoha but his return to Egypt has not gone according to plan.
A 2016 Olympics Bronze medalist with Nigeria, Junior Ajayi SPORTSRATION gathered may not play for Smuoha SC again despite signing a 3-year contract in 2022.
