Nigerian teams get opponents as ITTF African Junior and Cadet Championship reaches last stages

The Nigeria table tennis teams have booked their semifinal places at the ongoing ITTF African Junior and Cadet Championship in Ghana.

Nigeria alongside Egypt have booked their places in the last four after ending their group games top of the group unbeaten in the boy’s category.

For the boys’ semifinal ties holding on Tuesday April 9, it is a battle between two North African teams as Egypt and Tunisia clash while Nigeria will slug it out against Togo to determine the finalists that will get automatic qualification to the WJC.

For the girls’ semifinal pairings, Nigeria will slug it out with Mauritius while Egypt and Tunisia will face each other, which mirrors the boys’ semifinal fixtures.

Mauritius, Nigeria’s opponents alongside Egypt are unbeaten in their group games.
