Nigerians Abroad: Nwakaeme, Ajayi on target again, wins for Moses, Ndidi; Mikel lose again as Aina sees red

The usual were again on target this week while the likes of Victor Moses, Umar Aminu, Chidozie Awaziem and Okechukwu Azubuike and Wilfred Ndidi on the winning teams.

Victor Moses (Fenerbahce)

Victor Moses was on from the beginning to the end as Fenerbahce puts their 2-1 loss to Basaksehir behind the to win 2-1 against Sivasspor on Friday.

Was a constant threat down the left flank as Fener secured and important win.

Mikel Obi (Middlesbrough)

For the third time in row, Mikel Obi and Middlesbrough were beaten in a league game.

Mikel received caution as Middlesbrough were destroyed 3-0 by Aston Villa at Villa park.

Semi Ajayi (Rotherham)

Rotherham midfielder Semi Ajayi was again in target but his goal was unable to save The Millers from going down 2-2 to Norwich City.

Semi Ajayi who scored both goals last week as Rotherham won their first away game of the season when they beat QPR was again involved on Saturday.

Semi Ajayi restored parity for his club before they were pegged by Norwich City.

Anthony Nwakaeme was on target again as Trabzonspor beat Erzurum 1-0 in a league game on Saturday.

Anthony Nwakaeme scored the only goal of the match for his 4th league goals in three games. He has a total of 8 goals in 19 games.

Ola Aina (Torino)

It was not Aina’s day as he saw red in Torino’s 3-2 home loss to Bologna. The Super Eagles player has been in top form for Walter Mazzarri side but Saturday was one of those days to forget in a rush.

Aina was given his marching others in the 90+ after receiving his second card within the space of 2 minute.

Kenneth Omeruo (Leganes)

Kenneth Omeruo was on the pitch the entire game but couldn’t help Leganes avoid 2-0 home loss to Girona.

Aminu Umar, Chidozie Awaziem, Okechukwu Azubuike (Rizespor)

Chidozie Awaziem and Okechukwu Azubuike started and were on the pitch till the end as Rizespor beat Konyaspor 2-0 away from home.

Aminu Umar who had started all the past games for Rizespor was relegated to the bench. The Dream Team bronze medalist came on for Aatif Chahechouhe in the 76th minute.

Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho (Leicester)

Wilfred Ndidi was part of the 10-man Leicester City that beat Burnley 2-1 at Turf More in a Premier League game played on Saturday.

Leicester were reduced to 10-man in the 5th minute of the game when Harry Maguire was giving his marching orders.

With 10-man for 85 minute Leicester still managed to secure the maximum points against Burnley.

Kelechi Iheanacho was an unused sub.
