Nigeria’s Dennis Bonaventure joins exclusive list in Belgium
Less than six minutes after making his debut for Belgian giants, Club Brugge, Nigeria’s Emmanuel Dennis Bonaventure scored a super goal to put his name on an exclusive list.
The 19-year-old attacker who recently joined Club Brugge from the Ukrainian Premier League club, FC Zorya, wasted no time in repaying the trust his coach, Ivan Leko, put on him to start in an important game by putting his team ahead in the 6th minute.
The former FC Abuja Academy trainee turned his marker in and out before scoring from a tight angle.
Although his team played a 3-3 draw in their UEFA Champions League third round qualifying match against Basaksehir of Turkey on Wednesday, he would be pleased with his contribution before he was removed in the 62nd minute for Izquierdo.
