Nigeria’s D’Tigress book Tokyo 2020 Olympics ticket

Nigeria’s women national basketball team, the D’Tigress have booked a spot in the basketball event at the 2020 Olympics game to be staged in Tokyo this summer.

Despite suffering a 63-70 points lost to the hosts Serbia at the on going FIBA Olympics qualifiers they managed to book a spot thanks to USA’s 124-49 win against Mozambique.

Nigeria qualified as the only possible women team from Africa to be in Tokyo thanks to their win against Mozambique in their first game.
