Nigeria’s Ime Udoka wants more after turning Celtics to most inform NBA team

Ime Udoka, the coach of Boston Celtics believes his team can still attain another level after an impressive 125-97 victory over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night.

The former D’Tigers of Nigeria player is currently doing wonders with the 17-time NBA champions.

Celtics with Jason Tatum, Marcus Smart, Jaylen Brown were under performing at the start of the season.

In fact as at January 22, they had 23-24 record but that has changed to 22-4, the best record in NBA in that span.

Despite securing the 10th win (including big margin wins against Golden State Warriors, Denver Nuggets, and Utah Jazz) in 11 games, Ime Udoka wants more.

“I think we all feel there’s another level we can take it to,” said Ime Udoka

“Defensively, we can be more stingy. And then getting everyone involved on offense.

“You can see it as Derrick (White) and Daniel (Theis) are starting to fit in and figure it out.”

Jayson Tatum scored 26 points, Jaylen Brown also added 26 points and Marcus Smart finished with a career-high 13 assists in the big win.
