NBA Recap: Ime Udoka leads Boston Celtics past Brooklyn Nets

Wizards, Jazz, Rockets, Nuggets all win

Boston Celtics Head Coach and former D’Tigers star Ime Udoka has overseen a sensational turnaround from the Celtics after a 126-120 win over the Brooklyn Nets.

Jayson Tatum led the scoring for the Celtics as he dropped 54 points just one day after LeBron James dropped 56 for the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Boston Celtics under Ime Udoka look like Real contenders and have picked up 16 wins in their last 20 matches, with three of those wins coming against the Brooklyn Nets. Jaylen Brown scored 21 points and Kevin Durant tallied 37 points for the Nets.

Ime Udoka has led the Boston Celtics to 5th place in the Eastern Conference with a 39-27 record this season after a below-par start to the season.

Champions Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Phoenix Suns 132-122 in a rematch of last season’s NBA Final. Khris Middleton took centre stage with 44 points for the Bucks as Jordan Nwora contributed 12 points off the bench. The Suns were without Devin Booker and Chris Paul.

The Washington Wizards defeated the Indiana Pacers 133-123 in their NBA encounter on Sunday. Kyle Kuzma scored 23 points and Kristaps Porzingis contributed 25 points for the Wizards.

The Houston Rockets picked up a shock 123-112 win over the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA on Sunday. Kevin Porter Jr led the scoring with 29 points while Christian Wood and Jalen Green recorded 28 and 24 points, respectively.

Utah Jazz defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 116-103. Bojan Bogdanovic contributed 35 points for the Jazz as Donovan Mitchell scored 24 points of his own. Reigning DPOTY Rudy Gobert scored 12 points and made 17 rebounds.

The Cleveland Cavaliers returned to winning ways with a 104-96 win over the Toronto Raptors. Lauri Markkanen contributed 22 points and 12 rebounds as Evan Mobley finished with 20 points and 17 rebounds.

Nikola Jokic recorded a triple-double for the Denver Nuggets in their 138-130 OT win over the New Orleans Pelicans. The reigning MVP scored 46 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists for his side in the win.

New York Knicks defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 116-93 on Sunday in the NBA. RJ Barrett led the scoring with 24 points as Immanuel Quickley contributed 21 points and 10 rebounds in the game.
