Nigeria’s Saviour Godwin wins player of the season award in Portugal.

After scoring 10 goals in 29 appearances to help Casa Pia to promotion to the Portuguese Primers Liga, former Nigerian Youth international Saviour Godwin has won the Portuguese Liga pro player of the season award.

 

The 2013 U-17 World Cup winner Played 29 times for Casa Pia this term . Saviour Godwin was instrumental to his team garnering 68 points from 34 matches to finish in second place behind Rio Ave.

 

Saviour Godwin a member of the 2013 Golden Eaglets squad where Kelechi Ihenacho hit limelight is courting the attention of top clubs in the Portuguese Primers Liga after a fantastic season with Casa Pia.
