NLO: Aspire FC Adazi-Ani Promoted To Division One

The 2019 Nation – Wide League One(Amateur Divison 2 Tournament ) has finally come to a victorious end in Favour of ASPIRE FC Adazi – Ani, Anaocha Local Government Area, Anambra State.

At Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu State, which was the venue for the NLO Amateur Division 2 Tournament, ASPIRE FC has since 22nd day of August, 2019 played teams(BEN AYADE FC, EBONYI UTD, BLACK EAGLES FC, & ALGON BOYS FC) back to back and came out victorious in all.

It’s important to note that ASPIRE FC is barely one year of existence in soccer business, but has tremendously made landmark achievements.

It is no longer News that ASPIRE FC Adazi – Ani is the Current Defending Champion of ANAMBRA FA CUP, 2019 Season which took place at NERO STADIUM Fews months ago.

What is News now is that ASPIRE FC Adazi – Ani has repeated same history of playing four straight games undefeated in the just concluded Nation Wide League One(Amateur Division 2 Tournament) and has been promoted into Division One, and we look forward to seeing them in the NPFL in a very short time.

Recall that ASPIRE FC Adazi – Ani Played BEN AYADE FC 1:1 Draw in their first Match with a wonderful goal from Christian Chimezie of ASPIRE FC. In their second leg of the tournament, they defeated EBONYI UTD by 1 goal scored by Hassan Abubakar.

The match Between ASPIRE FC vs BLACK EAGLES was described by the fans as the final of the tournament because the both team played with so much determination to win. But the fearless Boys of ASPIRE FC sent BLACK EAGLES back to owerri with 2 goals to nil. Moses(Jersey no 11) and John(Jersey no 9) scored the two goals in the First 45mins of the Match.

The final Play Off was between ASPIRE FC vs ALGON BOYS FC. It was goalless in the first 45mins of the game because the both teams were so determined to secure the ticket for promotion into Division One. The second half of the game almost ended goalless but Hassan Abubakar(Jersey no 34) said no by belittling the ALGON BOYS FC with a winning goal in the 85mins of the game. However, ALGON BOYS played to their brim to equalize but ASPIRE FC Boys reminded them that they are the Defending Champion of Anambra FA Cup.

In his speech, the head coach of ASPIRE FC Adazi -Ani Coach Patrick Ozoh commended ASPIRE boys for their determinations and passion throughout the tournament. The winning Coach who is barely 2 months as the head Coach of ASPIRE FC assured ASPIRE FC Management and the Fans that ASPIRE FC will secure promotion into NPFL under his watch as the head Coach. The international trained coach thanked the president of ASPIRE FC Dr Emeka Okeke for his continuous support to the club and his efforts towards players welfare.
Also speaking, the Former FA secretary, Anambra State, Mr Victor Nwangwu commended ASPIRE FC boys and urge them to keep their spirit high and always have in mind that the reward for good work is more work. Mr Nwangwu who travelled all the way from Anambra State to Enugu to cheer the boys up thanked the founder/President of ASPIRE FC Adazi Ani for his philanthropic spirit and assured him that they will continue to support the team.

In his speech, The NLO secretary Mr Bright Nwanosike expressed satisfaction over the conduct of the teams that participated in the tournament. He commended every team for their efforts and determination. The NLO secretary lauded ASPIRE FC for their tireless efforts and unbeatable spirits.

In his vote of thanks, the Captain of ASPIRE FC Adazi Ani Sunday Adams thanked the coach, management and the organizers of the tournament. Mr Adams said it has been very tough but with God and the continuous support of Dr Emeka Okeke, everything was made easy. The captained assured the management and the Fans that ASPIRE FC will never let them down. He quote ” To whom much is given, Much is Expected” He said that much has been given to them by Dr Emeka Okeke, and the fans should expect much from them.

The highlights of the final match were group pictures and celebration of the promotion into Division One by the players and management of ASPIRE FC.
