NLO Disciplinary Committee sits on Fc Ona Pal vs Essien Ayi Fc/J Atete Jnr cases today

The disciplinary committee of the Nigeria Nationwide League One – NLO will today Thursday 11th August 2022 sit on the Group D1 cases involving FC Ona Pal vs J Atete Jnr and FC Ona Pal vs Essien Ayi Fc .

 

In the first case , the petitioner FC Ona Pal of Akwa Ibom is praying the league board to activate Article 2.01 , Article 3.02 and Article 4.01 to award 3 points and 3 goals against J Atete Jnr of Delta state for fielding three NNL registered players in their match last week .

 

J Atete Jnr defeated FC Ona Pal 2-1 at the Utu Jeremy stadium , Ughelli Delta state before FC Ona Pal filed a protest over the illegibility of Godstime Edeavour , Mathew Goden and Slyvester Edjoba for the NLO Matchday 14 encounter .

 

In the other case, the NLO disciplinary committee will take decision for a third time on the Essien Ayi Fc Vs FC Ona Pal match decided in June 2022 .

 

The case Sportsration gathered is over match fixing allegations which representatives of both teams will appear before the NLO disciplinary committee in defense .

 

The decision of the NLO disciplinary committee will decide who finishes top of the standings in Group D1 of the 2021/2022 Nigeria Nationwide League One season .

 

Essien Ayi Fc who ended the season in first place have been paired against Aspire Fc for the Promotion playoff but this could change if the committee accedes to the prayers of FC Ona Pal .

 

If FC Ona Pal wins the protest and are awarded maximum points, FC Ona Pal will replace Essien Ayi Fc on top of the standings with 32 points , 2 more than the 30 Essien Ayi Fc finished the season with .

 

The NLO disciplinary committee sitting will hold by 10am at the NLO Conference hall in Abuja .
