NNL: Delta Force Clash A Crucial One For Remo Stars – Osho

Technical Adviser of Remo Stars, Osho Fatai has hinted that the match against Delta Force FC is going to be a crucial tie in Match Day three (3) of the Nigeria National League (NNL).

The fixture is the first home game for the Sky Blue Stars after picking six (6) points on the road in the second tier of Nigeria Football.

Remo Stars welcome the Delta Ambassadors in a crunchy tie set for the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu on Sunday, 13th of May, 2018.

Speaking with RSFC Media, Technical Adviser, Fatai Osho says the team can’t hope for something better than the points on the road and next for the team is to solidify her home to get maximum points.

“It’s a crucial game for us, we started very well and we can’t hope for something better and that is the highest we could get. Getting that means we have to come home to solidify our home to get our points.”

“It is only when we get these points at home that whatever we might have achieved so far on the road will matter, we cannot afford to spill anything here. We have to really work hard.”

“A lot of respect have to be given to Delta Force Football Club because they are a prominent team at the level of NNL, they have been coming close to promotion every time and they would really want to fancy their chances this year and on our part we believe we have what it takes to qualify from that group, that is the way we are looking at it and we really have to work for it.”

“We can’t just say because we’ve won points on the road, we are home and dry, it’s still early days in the league and we have to really work hard.”

Speaking about the change of head coach, Osho says it won’t change anything because the new coach was the assistant under former coach of the club, Victor Agali.

“If the head coach is leaving a team and somebody within the coaching crew is taking over, it’s almost the same thing because he understands the settings and nothing would be distorted completely, it is easy for him to come in and start working outrightly but we want to give our best, not looking at the coaching crew because it is normal in football.”

“Sometimes you have the best coach and he is unable to get the best result at that given time and he has to give way not because he can’t do the job but maybe they need something different from the way things are done. We don’t have to look at that but remain focused to work hard so as to get our points.” Osho insist.
