Nigeria National League club Fc ONE Rockets has released a press statement debunking links to reported attacks on Go Round Fc on Saturday 25th June 2022.
Images of Injured Go Round Fc players surfaced on Social media platforms hours after the Rockets 2-0 win over Go Round Fc at the Practice Pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International stadium Uyo.

FC ONE ROCKETS CONDEMN REPORTED ATTACK ON GO ROUND FC; DEBUNK CLAIMS OF FUELING VIOLENCE
The management of FC ONE Rockets condemns in strong terms, reported attack on Go Round FC in the aftermath of Saturday’s Nigeria National League Southern Conference Group B2 encounter that ended 2-0 in favour of the Indomitables at the training pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
Reports across several platforms emerged after the win, accusing the Chairman FC ONE Rockets, Rt. Hon. Otuekong Nse Essien of fueling an attack against the Omoku side after the game.
Management wishes to categorically state that:
i) the game ended peacefully at 2-0 in favour of the home team who left after the game
ii) the club is not a party to any attack on Go Round FC
iii) the club has been disciplined and has lost at home once and drawn twice this season without any form of violence
iv) Go Round FC had fans on their bench who tried to, at several points, disrupt the game and gain advantage, but the home team exhibited patience and maturity to see out a great game which was the biggest win recorded this season
v) the team is committed to keeping its record of discipline intact and making the home ground a fair atmosphere for all visiting teams.
