Ibom Youth Fc Speedster Nsikak Moses has expressed optimism he and his teammates will have a simple game on Wednesday 9th March 2022 .
The forward made this known in a Pre match interview ahead of his sides Nigeria National League Matchday Five encounter vs Ekiti United at the Ikot Ekpene township stadium in Akwa Ibom state.
The Attacker who is expected to retain his spot in the starting XI was bullish about Ibom Youths Fc’s chances of victory against Ekiti United.
In his words ” I am saying it shouldn’t be a difficult game because all of the players here are in agreement that we cannot afford to drop points at home. We will go out to make up for the weekends loss to Bendel Insurance in Benin.“
When asked about his personal targets for the season Nsikak Moses said ” I want to score goals to help the team. It’s not a very long League and considering the difficult nature of the NNL , I have a 10 goals target for myself. Hopefully when I get the first it will open the door to the rest”.
On the impact of the supporters so far Nsikak replied ” Our supporters have been great. We see and hear the messages on Social media and in the stadium on Matchday. I will ask for same support on Wednesday at the Ikot Ekpene township stadium. Come Cheer us to Victory ” He concluded.
Coach Emmanuel Ntuk has listed a 20man squad to face Ekiti United. Striker Mfoniso Umoh and Defender Alexander Momoh have joined the 18 players who executed the Matchday 4 encounter Vs Bendel Insurance in camp for Wednesdays match at the Ikot Ekpene township stadium.
In camp for the match are Goalkeepers Victor Obiowo and Etido Bassey. In defence Wisdom Ndon , Franklin Chinedu, Captain Marshall John, Nicholas Joseph, Momoh, Victor Ifiok and Namso Edo.
Midfielders Joseph Bassey , Ndifreke John, Birthday boy Dauda Umar Musa Reza , Edidiong George and Hossana Uyoh will have the responsibility of supply to Attackers Gift Henshaw, Mbuotidem Charles , Damilola Salami , Mfoniso Umoh, Chibuzor Princewill and Nsikak Moses.
