Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard has revealed that there is no limit to what the team can achieve in the 2022-23 season.
The Gunners have been impressive this season, topping the Premier League log with five points clear of second-placed Manchester City.
The Norwegian admits there is still a long way to go in the season.
“We’re in the title race now,” the Arsenal captain told the Players’ Tribune.
“But there’s a long way to go and, trust me, no one is thinking about May yet.
“It’s a cliche but we are taking it game by game, training session by training session. One piece at a time.”
Odegaard believes Arsenal have proven that they can mix with the big teams this season.
“If there’s anyone left who still doesn’t fully believe in this team, take it from me – there are no limits on what we can achieve.
“No one can tell me otherwise. I’m so proud to be captain of this club and I feel like I’m going to be here a long time.”
Arsenal will hope to bounce back from the 1-0 loss to Everton, when they take on Brentford on Saturday at the Emirates Stadium.
