NPFL action back with Oriental derby in Owerri

Kwara United to take on Wikki Tourists

Matchday 14 of the 2020/21 NPFL season is set to hold on Sunday March 7th and Monday March 8th at different centres across the federation. Enyimba and FC Ifeanyi Ubah will be missing in action as Enyimba prepare for their CAF Confederation Cup tie this midweek.

On Sunday, Adamawa United welcome Dakkada FC to the Pantami Stadium in Gombe as they look to haul themselves off the bottom of the table with a string of good results.

Heartland host Abia Warriors at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri with both teams in good form. Heartland will be boosted by the return of their influential goalkeeper and captain, Ikechukwu Ezenwa for the fixture.

Rangers International travel to the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna to take on Kano Pillars. Pillars, who lost to Dakkada last time out will be looking for a chance to reach the summit of the NPFL for a second time.

Katsina United host fellow strugglers, Sunshine Stars at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina with both teams looking for a chance to get their seasons back on track.

Rivers United put their 100% home record on the line when they host Jigawa Golden Stars at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium. The Pride of Rivers are down in 8th after a poor run of form, but will be looking to bounce back with a win.

Nasarawa United host Lobi Stars at the Lafia Township Stadium on Sunday.

Plateau United welcome MFM FC to the New Jos Stadium for their Matchday 14 encounter with both teams looking for an important win.

Table-topping Kwara United visit Wikki Tourists FC at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi looking to consolidate on their top spot in the league.

In Monday’s only fixture, Warri Wolves host Akwa United at the Ozoro Poly Stadium in Delta looking for a result that would lift them out of the bottom four.
