NPFL: Kano Pillars earns vital point in Jos to remain second on the log
Kano Pillars came back from behind on Sunday to force Wikki Tourists football club to a 1-1 draw inside the Jos new stadium in one of the MatchDay 16 encounter in the on going 2017/2018 EPFL season.
Nafi’u kabuga put the Tourists ahead in the 23rd minute of play from a spot kick after Kano Pillars football club player tackled the home team player in what the referee adjudged as dangerous in the box.
The Sai masu Gida leveled up in the 28th minute of the encounter when Ibrahim Alassan’s shot inside the box from a long pass from Ifeanyi Nweke.

Coach Ibrahim then commended his boys on the way they played the match and urged them to tightening their belts for the challenges ahead.
” We came to Jos to collect the maximum points not draw but thank Almighty Allah for the draw which is not bad to us,” coach Ibrahim said.
He thanked the hundreds of supporters who trooped to Jos from the pyramid city to cheered the team which he said is commendable.
