NPFL: Kwara United Players And Officials Protest 3-Months Unpaid Salary
Kwara United players and officials, Monday morning embarked on a peaceful protest over three months unpaid salaries before honoring their NPFL match day 21 fixture against Remo Stars on Monday evening.
The players and staffs are still being owed three months of salary and there seems to be no sign of getting the outstandings before the end of the season.
Report suggest that a spokesman from the government house has revealed to them that the state governor had already released the sum of 250 million naira but they don’t know why the money has not yet gotten to the club.
Kwara United are already relegated from the NPFL occupying the 11th position with 21pts.
