NPFL: LMC Sanctions Yobe Desert Stars For Crowd Violence

Yobe Stars have been charged for breaching NPFL Framework & Rules during their Matchday 19 game vs Kwara United on April 29

Yobe Stars supporters threw objects towards the field of play during last Sunday’s match against Kwara United

Some of Yobe Stars supporters also encroached onto the field of play 
Yobe Stars further failed to provide adequate security for match officials leading to some of their supporters assaulting the referee immediately after the match

Furthermore, some of Yobe Stars officials including those dressed in steward jackets assaulted the referee which is capable of bringing the league into disrepute
For throwing objects towards the field of play, Yobe Stars have been fined N1 million

Yobe Stars will also pay N1m for encroachment immediately after the match

For conduct of their officials capable of bringing the league to disrepute, Yobe Stars will pay a fine of N1m

Yobe Stars will play their next 3 home matches behind closed doors with the last 2 being suspended for a probationary period till end of this season
