NPFL MD 16 REVIEW: Katsina Utd shoot into Top4 as Abia Warroirs hold Heartland in Derby

Lobi Stars remained top of the NPFL standings after a late goal against El Kanemi Warriors in Markurdi to win 1-0 as the Nigeria Professional Football League entered Matchday 16. 

In Nnewi, FC Ifeanyi Ubah came from a goal down to win 3-1 against Sunshine Stars as the Oriental derby ends in a stalemate between Heartland and Abia Warriors. 

Katsina Utd scored late to defeat Rivers Utd, 2-1 in Katsina, same way Yobe Desert Stars scored late to defeat Go Round FC, 1-0. 

Junior Lokosa failed to score but Alhassan Ibrahim was to the rescue for Kano Pillars who earned a point in Jos at Wikki Tourist. 

Niger Tornadoes defeated Rangers Intl in Minna 1-0 as Seven matches were played in the Matchday 16 fixtures with other teams involved on the continent.
