NPFL MD 17 REVIEW: El kanemi Warriors win big as Rangers drops point at the Cathedral

Six matches were played in the Matchday 17 of the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL on Sunday as eleven goals were scores with four other matches rescheduled due to continental outings. 

At the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt, Elum Sochima scored a 57seconds goal which proved to be the winner for Rivers Utd against Nasarawa United. 

Agboola strucked a second half penalty to help Katsina United to a point at Abia Warriors in Umuahia. 
The biggest win of week was recorded in Maiduguri with El Kanemi Warriors hitting Heartland for three, to help ease relegation fear on Imama Amapakabo

Rangers Intl surprisingly fired blank at the Cathedral against Kwara United while Go Round FC were also pecked in Omoku to a 1-1 draw by Niger Tornadoes. 

Sunshine Stars came from a goal down as Franklin Sasere scored a good header to hand Henry Abiodun a 2-1 win over Wikki Tourist after Abubakar Umar had earlier given Wikki Tourist a 3min lead with Sikiru Alimi finding the equaliser for the Akurw Gunners.
