NPFL MD 9 Round Up: Kwara United in shock away show, Pillars and Enyimba maintain unbeaten streak
The Nigeria Professional football league recorded some amazing result in it’s Matchday 9 fixtures as five wins and 2 draws where recorded in 7 matches as fixtures involving club side’s representing Nigeria on the continent were rescheduled.
In Lafia, Kwara United produced the biggest shock of the week as they rallied from 2-1 down to snatch a late point at 3-3.
Kano Pillars were unable to take Enyimba to the cleaners as Junior Lokosa scored his 8th goal of the campaign, to see a 1-1 draw for Pillars.
Rivers United and Katsina Utd recorded the only clean sheet of the week as they both defeated Niger Tornadoes and FC Ifeanyi Ubah, 2 nil and 3 nil respectively.
On the sad part, NPFL lost his legendary defender Chinedu Udoji to the cold hands of death after featuring in the Kano Pillars and Enyimba game.
