In a drab game of 96mins football, that saw Remo Star’s Victor Chidume sent off early in the second half after an off the ball incident, defender Ifeanyi Anaemena stepped up to marshall a well drilled Enyimba defence to a point.
Enyimba’s Chinedu Udechukwu hit the upright after a good counter attacking move in what was the game’s only sight on goal.
Enyimba threatened with few chances upfront but where undone by Ewelike Edozie in Remo Star’s heart of the defence as the lanky centre back put in a man of the match display.
With two matches left to play in the league, Remo Stars who are on 19pts confirmed their relegation as they can no longer beat the drop even if they win their last two games which is against Kwara United and Lobi Stars respectively
