NPFL Rescheduled wrap: Remo Stars return with a win, Kada City win again

Remo Stars have returned to Gateway International Stadium with a win after playing their three last home games in Oshogbo while Kada City topped their win against Plateau United with another win against Yobe Stars.

Lanre Runsewe opened the scoring in the 20th minute for Remo Stars before Isa Gata equalized for Wikki Tourists.

But Victor Mbaoma scored the winner in the 89th minute from the spot.

Kada City continued their good run of form with another win against another Northern rivals. After their win against Plateau United they added another win against Yobe Stars on Sunday.

Kabiru Sanusi opened the scoring in the 18th minute for Kada City but Philip Auta equalized for Yobe Stars in the 48th minute of the game.

Kabiru Sarki scored the second goal and the winning goal in the 88th minute.

Katsina United were forced to a 1-1 draw at Lobi Stars. Martins Usule opened the scoring for the visitors in the 12th minute but Yaya Kone equalised for Lobi Stars in the 68th minute of the game.

Musa Usman scored twice to deny Akwa United the win on Sunday. Musa Usman scored the first goal in the 26th minute but Emmanuel Charles equalized for Akwa United in the 78th minute.

Mfon Udoh scored what would have been the winning goal in the 84th minute but Musa Usman scored from the spot in the 89th minute to restore parity.
