Odion Igahlo named Chinese Super League player of the month of April

Super Eagles striker Odion Jude Ighalo has been named the best player for the month of April in China after his outstanding performances for Changchun Yatai in the Chinese Super League in the month in review.

Odion Ighalo was simply unstoppable in the month of April, he scored a total of six goals in four games.

Having failed to find the back of the net in Changchun Yatai’s 2-1 loss to Hebei CFC and 3-0 win against Henan Jianye, he scored four goals against Guizhou Zhicheng and two against Shanghai SIPG for an impressive record of 6 in 4 games.

Odion Ighalo who is one of the high profile player expected to lead the Super Eagles in Russia 2018 has scored a total of 7 goals in 10 legue gamea played in so far.
