Odion Ighalo opens Shanghai Shenhua account in home loss to Hebei CFFC

Super Eagles Odion Jude Ighalo has opened his goal scoring account for Shanghai Shenhua in their 2-1 loss to Hebei CFFC at the Hongkou Football Stadium on Sunday.

Odion Ighalo fired blank in his first game for Shanghai Shenhua as they suffered a 4-0 loss to Shanghai SIPG in their first league game last week.

Again it was the visitors who took the lead when Moroccan striker Ayoub El Kaabi scored in the 30th minute of the game.

Odion Ighalo who scored 21 goals in 28 league games for Changchun Yatai showed why he is one of the deadly striker in Chinese league as he draw parity for Shanghai Shenhua in the 34th minute.

Hebei CFFC scored the winning goal in the 66th minute through Dong Xuesheng to condemn Shanghai Shenhua to another defeat.

After two league games, Shanghai Shenhua have zero point and are one of the bottom clubs. For Odion Ighalo it is 1 goal in just 2 games for the Nigerian striker.
