Ogbonna joins Besiktas from ALG Spor

Turkish side Besiktas have completed the signing of Nigeria defender Glory Ogbonna from ALG Spor until the end of the season.

According to Nigerian journalist Favour Itua, Besiktas have closely monitored the versatile Super Falcon as she starred for league leaders ALG Spor

Besiktas are looking to qualify for the playoffs and will be boosted with the signing of Nigeria’s Glory Ogbonna.

Ogbonna passed a routine medical and was unveiled at the Vodafone Stadium. She will wear jersey number 20 at the club.

Ogbonna was in fine for ALG Spor to help the team to top spot and poised for this seasons playoffs.

A Africa Women’s Cup of Nations winner with Nigeria, Ogbonna is the latest addition to Suat Okyar tutored side.

In her first reaction as a Besiktas player Ogbonna told Favour  “This is one move i never saw coming, when the offer came, I look at their project and it was wonderful so I decided to key in.

” Besiktas is a good club, they have got ambition, I want to give my all to the club and help them secure the playoffs ticket.”

Ogbonna joins compatriot Vivian Ikechukwu at Besiktas.
