Okpotu passes first test, set to train with Brondby first team

The Lobi Star striker who was the top scorer in the 2017-17 Nigeria Professional Football League is in far away Denmark with the hope of securing a deal with the team on top of the Danish league table.
Anthony Okpotu who played a part in Brondby reserves 3-1 loss to a strong F.C. Copenhagen on Tuesday so much that it caught the eyes of the management.
Martin Retov the coach of the reserve team expressed his delight in Anthony Okpotu performance on the night.
“I’m really very pleased with the players performance. We are good at almost the whole match, except for a short period in the second half. I think they all show a heart and fight against a strong F.C. Copenhagen.”
Anthony Okpotu will continue his trial Brondby by training with the first team today and tomorrow before a decision is made about his future.
