Olayinka, Chukwueze light up Europa League Round of 16

Nigeria remains well represented at this season’s UEFA Europa League after some of its players helped their teams to progress to the quarterfinals of the competition, and even made telling contributions.

Slavia Prague striker, Peter Olayinka opened the scoring for his side as they won 2-0 against 9-man Rangers, who had Super Eagles defender, Leon Balogun sent off for two bookable offences.

Samuel Chukwueze delivered an assist for Spanish striker, Gerard Moreno who scored twice as Villarreal won 2-0 against Ukrainian side, Dynamo Kiev to progress to the quarterfinals of the competition.

Iyayi Believe Atiemwen delivered an inch-perfect pass to Mislav Orsic to score Dinamo Zagreb’s second goal against Tottenham Hotspur in their Round of 16 3-0 win as they pulled off the shock of the tournament so far against Jose Mourinho’s men.
