Olise to PSG as Messi replacement mooted

Nigeria-eligible Crystal Palace star Michael Olise is mooted as replacement for departing Lionel Messi at PSG this summer.

According to Daily Mail Olise is rated highly by at PSG and fits the ideas at the Paris club ahead of a huge summer transfer window.

Argentina superstar Lionel Messi will leave PSG this summer, while Neymar could head out as well following protests from the clubs supporters who are not satisfied with the Brazilians contributions to the club despite his mega wages.

If a deal happens, it will be a massive transfer for Michael Olise. His Maternal links to France and understanding of French language will be key consideration too.

Olise has scored two goals this season and assisted Nine others in 34 appearances for the Eagles.

PSG want to reshape their squad with younger players who will complement star man Kylian Mbappe and help the club win a coveted UEFA Champions League title.

With a running contract until 2026, Crystal Palace will hold out for a huge fee and use to rebuild with Wilfred Zaha heading out as a free agent this summer.

Weeks ago, it was reported the winger plans a Palace stay despite reported Arsenal interest at the time. That notwithstanding, an offer from PSG will tempt the 21-year old who represents France U-21 at International level.

Also, PSG will be in the market for a center-back, holding midfielder, striker and two wingers this summer.

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is also a transfer target for PSG this summer following a fantastic season with the Italian Serie A Champions.

Earlier this week, multiple sources in France mentioned the 10-time Ligue One champions with interest in another Nigerian-blood, AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori .
