Onuachu hits 20 league goal tally as 10-man Genk share the spoils with Gent

Paul Onuachu has scored his 20th league goal of the season on Thursday in Genk’s 1-1 draw against Gent.

The Super Eagles striker nodded home for his 20th of the season as his 10-man Genk shared the spoils against Gent.

Paul broke the deadlock in the 7th minute at the Luminus Arena but his side were reduced to 10 when Carlos Cuesta picked up a red card.

18 minutes after they went down to 10-man, Paul Onuachu was subbed off in a tactical switch with Kristian Thorstvedt coming on for him.

The visitors eventually got an equaliser in the 45th minute through Roman Yaremchuk.

Genk could have won the game but Junya Ito fluffed his line from the spot kick.

In the end it remained 1-1 despite Cyriel Dessers introduction in the 85th minute of the game.
