Onuachu hits brace for his 14 league goal, Dessers also on target in Genk 4-2 win against Antwerp

His goals fires Genk to the top of the table

Red-hot Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu has scored two goals to help Genk secure a 4-2 win against high flying Antwerp on Sunday.

The Luminus Arena was the host stadium for the Belgian league clash between Genk and Antwerp.

And the visitors took the lead in the third minute of the game through Koji Miyoshi.

Paul Onuachu drew his side level 16 minutes after the shocking goal, he then doubled his tally in the 23rd minute.

Theo Bongonda increased Genk’s tally to three but Royal Antwerp through Dieumerci Mbokani reduced the deficit by one.

After scoring his 13th and 14th league goals of the season, Paul Onuachu was subbed off for Cyriel Dessers in the 81st minute.

Eight minutes after coming on, Cyriel Dessers scored his 4th goal of the season for Genk’s 4th of the game.

The win puts Genk top of the Belgian Pro League table with one point ahead of last seasons champions.
