Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu scored a brace for Tranzonspor, including a brilliantly executed finish to hand them a 2-1 win over Konyaspor and lift them to third in the Super Lig standings.
Onuachu has impressed greatly since joining Trabzonspor from Southampton in the summer, and he continued his fine form in the Matchday 12 meeting with Konyaspor.
The Super Eagles striker opened the scoring for his side after 59 minutes with his fifth goal of the season for his new side. Konyaspor drew level when winger Louka Prip scored his first goal of the season for the side.
With the match looking set to send in a draw, Onuachu rose up and scored his second of the game in style with five minutes left to play.
The striker was moving away from goal when a cross came in from young strike partner Enis Destan. He reacted quickly to acrobatically volley home the ball using his heel, sealing the win with his sixth goal in eight league matches.
