Super-wealthy showbiz mogul Oprah Winfrey has back Lionel Messi to to win the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Lionel Messi will go down as arguably the best to have played the round leather ball after winning multiple individual and team accolades.
The Argentine holds the joint record for the most Ballon d’Or title, considered unstoppable by pundits, players and the fans alike but lacking just one silverware from his mnay titles, winning with the Argentina national team.
He has won the Olympic gold medal, the FIFA U-20 World Cup but has failed to win anything with the Argentina national team, having lost out in three consecutive finals; twice in the Copa America title to Chile and World Cup to Germany.
But Oprah Winfrey the global media leader and Philanthropist has urged the Argentine do whatever it will take to take the moment he has een waiting for.
“Messi, you’ve been waiting for this,” said Oprah when asked what advice she can you give to Messi at the World Cup.
“Enter the depths of yourself and unleash all your energy. You have to go very deep inside to find all your strengths, and Messi, be a warrior.”
