Victor Osimhen may have confirmed his move from Lille to Napoli as his club are almost close to signing his replacement.
The move taking the Nigerian striker from Napoli was reportedly said to have been completed last week but official announcements are yet to be made.
Various reasons have been cited as to why the deal had lingered this long, but according to German based Nigerian journalist, Oma Akatugba the deal has been sealed.
And with Victor Osimhen action on Instagram, it looks like there are no more validation needed.
The former Wolfsburg striker liked an Instagram post confirming his move to Napoli.
Popular Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano who was quoted in the Instagram post also confirmed the move by giving more details on the deal.
“Victor Osimhen will join Napoli, confirmed,” said Fabrizio.
“The agreement is ready to be completed for €60M with Lille.
“Osimhen will sign his contract until June 2025. Last details to be completed and then done deal.”
Meanwhile, Lille is also closing in on replacing the Nigeria with two strikers.
The club are said to be in talks with Besiktas for their Turkish striker Burak Yilmas and they are also in advance talks with Galatasaray for Mustafa Kapi.
