Osimhen Joins Super Eagles Camp Ahead of World Cup Playoffs

Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has joined the Super Eagles camp in Rabat ahead of Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup playoff fixtures.

Osimhen arrived at the team’s base on Tuesday afternoon alongside midfielder Alhassan Yusuf, increasing the number of players in camp to 23.

Head coach Eric Chelle now has almost his full squad available, with only Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye yet to report for duty.

The team began preparations for the crucial playoff games on Monday and will continue with another training session later tonight in Rabat.

Nigeria are scheduled to face the Panthers of Gabon in the first semi-final of the playoffs on Thursday, as they aim to move one step closer to securing qualification for the 2026 World Cup.
