Osimhen leaps the highest to help Napoli keep Unique Europe’s Top 5 league record

The Nigerian has now 7 goals in his last 7 games for The Naples

Victor Osimhen leaped the highest to power home a goal that secured a hard-fought 1-0 win for Napoli in their Serie A game against Napoli at The Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Sunday.

The former Lille striker continued his goal scoring form to help Luciano Spalletti side enjoy a perfect start to the new season.

Napoli had the chance to go up in the 27th minute but Lorenzo Insigne wasted the chance from the spot.

Giovanni Di Lorenzo thought he put the home side up in the 56th minute but his goal was ruled out after the VAR consultation.

With less than 10 minute to the end of the game, Victor Osimhen leaped the highest to head home Eljif Elmas pass for the only goal of the game.

The goal was Victor Osimhen’s 5th league goal in 8 league games and his 7th for Napoli in his last 7 games in all competitions.

Napoli who have now won 8 games in 8 league games are the only team in Europe’s top five leagues with a 100% record.

Olaoluwa Aina was also in action for Torino, he was on the pitch for the entire duration of the game.
