Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is reportedly subject of a multi-billion off from Saudi Arabia but Nani says he is not expecting him to accept it.
Former Watford and Brescia Sporting Director, Gianluca Nani believes the Nigerian is still young and not still has time to earn the outrageous figures tied to a reported offer from Saudi Arabia’s Al Ahli.
according to multiple sources, Al Ahli are contemplating a €200 million move for last seasons Italian Serie A top-scorer Victor Osimhen this summer.
If that happens, Osimhen will become the second most expensive transfer in football history, only to Neymar’s €222 million transfer to PSG from Barcelona in 2017.
But that is a stat, Nani is not expecting as he looks forward to a stay in Europe for Napoli’s Nigerian hitman Victor Osimhen.
Nani said on ‘Radio Goal’ show aired on Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, “I don’t expect Osimhen to accept the offer from Saudi Arabia. He will certainly have time to earn certain figures.
“He’s very strong, and it’s only right that he’s attracting attention. If the right offer comes to Napoli , they’ll have to be adept at finding a suitable replacement.”
Thoughts around Napoli say keeping Osimhen at the club is very important but that could be tested if the offer arrives from Saudi Arabia.
“As champions of Italy and with these ambitions, keeping him for one more year is fundamental. We know that Napoli are very strong, but by losing Giuntoli and Spalletti, Napoli have lost a lot. This is why Osimhen is important let it remain”, said a Director via TuttoNapoli.net.
