Osimhen, Olayinka, Onuachu, Okereke, Bonaventure & 6 other Nigerians to look at out for as champions league starts today

Not less than eleven Nigerian players would be in action across Europe as the 2019-2020 UEFA Champions League starts off today.

Victor Osimhen, Peter Olayinka, Paul Onuachu, David Okereke, Dennis Bonaventure, Stephen Odey, Brian Idowu, Tyronne Ebuehi, Iyayi Atiemwen, Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham.

While players like Fikayo Tomori, Tammy Abraham, Victor Osimhen, Stephen Odey, Brian Idowu, will be playing in their first ever champions league game the likes of Peter Olayinka, and Paul Onuachu are back in the biggest stage again.

Victor Osimhen (Lille)

Red-hot Victor Osimhen will be in action as Lille start their campaign with a clash against Ajax today.

Osimhen who was on target over the weekend will be looking to lead his side to a win against the Dutch champions.

Paul Onuachu, Stephen Odey (Genk)

Nigerian strikers Paul Onuachu and Stephen Odey would be in action for their Belgian clubs today when they face Salzburg in Austria.

Paul Onuachu who was on target over the weekend with a flying header will be out to continue his fine form while Stephen Odey who didn’t make the bench would be looking to be part of action.

Peter Olayinka (Slavia Prague)

Nigerian striker Peter Olayinka would be leading the Czech champions when they face Antonio Conte’s Inter today.

Peter Olayinka who powered his side to a quarterfinal finish in the Europa League last season would be out to help his side in a tough group.

Nigerian duo will lead their Belgian club when they host the Turkish champions on Wednesday.

Dennis Bonaventure who was on target in the weekends Bruges derby would be looking to continue his goal scoring form while David Okereke who hasn’t scored in any of his last games would out to rediscover his goal scoring form.

Iyayi Believe Atiemwen (Dinamo Zagreb)

Iyayi Believe Atiemwen will be in action on Wednesday when Dinamo Zagreb host Atalanta.

Brian Idowu (Locomotiv Moscow)
