Osimhen returns to action for Napoli after injury layoff
Victor Osimhen returned to action for Napoli this evening in their 2-0 league win against Bologna at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium.
The striker, last November, suffered a left cheekbone and orbital fracture in Napoli’s clash against Inter after clashing with Milan Skriniar in an aerial duel.
The 22-year-old was substituted in for Dries Mertens on 71 minutes with a protective mask.

Osimhen missed out of Nigeria’s squad for the ongoing AFCON 2021 due to the aforementioned injury coupled with a Covid-19 infection.
Osimhen had scored five Serie A goals and four in the Europa League so far this season and will hope to add much more goals to his tally for the Naples-based club.
