Osun 0 Oyo 3: Bello Dolapo’s brace helps GCI break stubborn St. Mark Commercial

Bode-boneless tutored St. Mark Commercial Grammar School of Osogbo came with a plan but Bello Dolapo’s beauties ensured coach Yemi tutored GCI secure a 3-0 win on Friday.

The Government College Ibadan boys had sent a clear message across to teams after a comfortable 7-0 victory against Nawarudeen Secondary school Obantoko on Thursday.

The Osun boys were set up to defend all through the game. With their coach shouting ‘stick down’ for the entire match it was going as planned for them as they held GCI to a goalless 17 minutes of action.

The goal eventually came when Tolu Odedokun set up Bello Dolapo for the first goal in the 18th minute of the game. Bello Dolapo who himself was unplayable at time increased his tally to two in the 25th minute.

Ademola David who scored four goals in the first game scored his 5th goal of the campaign when he scored GCI’s third on the day.

The win cemented GCI’s top place in pool A while Osun finished 2nd and Ogun who conceded the highest number of games and failed to score a goal finished last and out.
