Out of favour Mesut Ozil ‘agrees permanent Arsenal exit’

Fenerbahce have reportedly won the race to sign Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil during the January transfer window.
Having been frozen out by Gunners boss Mikel Arteta, Ozil’s future has been frequently discussed over the coming months.

DC United have recently emerged as a possible destination for the playmaker, who has been open to a switch to the MLS.

However, DHA claims that the Germany international has agreed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Fenerbahce.

The Turkish giants have been long-term suitors of Ozil and the 32-year-old is expected to leave the Emirates Stadium on a free transfer.

Ozil has not made a first-team appearance for Arsenal since before the coronavirus pandemic.
