Oxygen Fc of Eket and Fullife Football Academy of Uyo defeated Ikoya Fc and Eagle Eyes Academy respectively to book a place in the final of the 2022 Akwa Ibom Grassroots League.

In the first semi final game, Oxygen Fc Captain Michael Jackson was the hero again for his side as he scored with a 39th minute header plus a Solomon Brownson free kick to seal victory over Ikoya Fc.

The entertaining second semi final game saw last seasons runners up Eagle Eyes Academy bow to a late goal by Fullife Football Academy wing back Edoho Mfon who finished off a delightful low cross from teammate Aniekan Bassey. It finished Eagle Eyes 0-1 Fullife Football Academy.

Oxygen Fc and Fullife Football Academy will do battle for the top prize on Friday 6th May 2022 by 3pm at the Onna Township stadium in Akwa Ibom state.

It promises to be an entertaining grand finale to a hugely rewarding 2022 Akwa Ibom Grassroots Football League season.
